What is the Mogger Face?

The Mogger Face is the standout face that Gakuran players grind for. When you create a character, your face is pulled from a gender-based pool — a male list and a female list — with each face equally likely and independent of your ethnicity. Most faces are ordinary; the Mogger Face is the rare one. Several dedicated guides describe it as a distinct roll of roughly 1%* (about 1 in 100), and the name borrows the internet “mogging” looksmaxxing slang for a dominant, good-looking face. Because that 1% is community-reported and not published by the developers, treat it as unofficial until you confirm it in-game.

Importantly, there is no code, quest, boss drop, or hidden map pickup behind the Mogger Face. It is purely a result the game can hand you when it generates a face. The only way to chase it is to reroll the face and let the odds come to you.

The real odds — chance by number of rerolls

A “~1% chance” is easy to misread. It does not mean you're guaranteed the Mogger Face by 100 rolls — each reroll is an independent 1% shot, so your cumulative chance follows 1 − 0.99N. Here's what that actually works out to:

RerollsChance you've hit it by now*Read
10~10%Long shot
50~39%Getting there
69~50%Coin-flip (median)
100~63%The “average” — still a 1-in-3 miss
200~87%Most players have it
300~95%Unlucky if not
459~99%Near-certain

*Assumes the reported ~1% per-roll rate. The average is 100 rolls, but the median is ~69 — half of players get it sooner, half later, and a small share grind past 300. There is no counter that guarantees it.

How to reroll your face (step by step)

Face rerolls happen from the same Stats menu as your other traits:

  1. Open the menu on the left of the screen and click the arrow to expand it.
  2. Select Stats — every rollable trait, including Face, is listed here.
  3. Click the reroll arrow next to Face and confirm. This spends Robux (or a free reroll charge) and instantly spins a new random face.
  4. Repeat. Every reroll is a fresh ~1% attempt — keep going until the Mogger Face appears.
  5. When it lands, stop and keep the character.
The catchRerolling is random — it re-spins the face to another random face, you don't get to pick the result. Paid rerolls buy you more attempts, never the Mogger Face directly.

What it costs — Robux math

Face rerolls are reported to cost about 2 Robux each*, though the exact price isn't developer-confirmed and has shifted across updates. Multiply that by the roll counts above and you get a realistic budget rather than a single number:

ScenarioRerollsCost at ~2 Robux/roll*
Lucky half (median)~69~138 Robux
Average player~100~200 Robux
Unlucky (~87% by here)~200~400 Robux

You don't have to pay for every attempt. Gakuran hands out free reroll charges, and reroll codes have been reported to grant more (e.g. GAKURAN and 15REROLLS) — spend those charges on the Face trait to chip away at the grind for free. We track code status honestly on the codes page: those two are reported by major outlets but we haven't personally verified them.

*The ~2 Robux face-reroll price is community-reported and can change — confirm the current cost in-game before spending real Robux.

Does ethnicity or gender matter?

No. The reported ~1% applies to any character. Ethnicity and gender don't gate the Mogger Face or change its odds — faces are drawn from a gender-based pool, but the rare roll can land on anyone. There are also variants of the Mogger look, so the exact face you end up with can differ slightly while still being the rare roll you were after. Don't reroll ethnicity or gender hoping to improve your Mogger odds; it does nothing for this.

Is chasing it worth it?

The Mogger Face is purely cosmetic — it doesn't buff your fighting. If you want it, treat the grind as a budget: decide how many Robux (or free charges) you'll spend, reroll in continuous batches rather than sporadically, and accept that going past 100 rolls is normal, not bad luck. If your goal is actually to fight better, spend your rerolls on height and your fighting style instead — those change how you play.

The Mogger Face rate and reroll cost are community-reported and change as the game updates — verify in-game. See Sources for how we check facts. Related: character creation & appearance · reroll simulator · codes status.

FAQ

FAQ

What is the Mogger Face in Gakuran?

“Mogger Face” is the community name for a rare face players chase in Gakuran. Multiple guides describe it as a distinct face roll of roughly 1% (about 1 in 100), and the name borrows the internet “mogging” looksmaxxing slang for a dominant good look. The ~1% figure is community-reported, not published by GakuranDev, so treat it as unofficial and verify in-game.

How do you get the Mogger Face?

There is no code, quest, boss drop or map pickup for it — it is purely a rare result of the face roll. Open Stats, reroll the Face trait, and repeat until it appears. Paid or free rerolls only give you more attempts at the same ~1%; nothing lets you pick it directly.

How many rerolls does the Mogger Face take?

At a ~1% chance there is no guaranteed number. On average it takes about 100 rerolls, but the median is roughly 69 (a coin-flip by then). You have about a 63% chance by 100 rolls and about 87% by 200 — and a real chance of going well past that, since every roll is independent.

How much does it cost to get the Mogger Face?

Face rerolls are reported to cost about 2 Robux each, though the exact price isn't developer-confirmed and can change. At that rate the median ~69 rolls is roughly 138 Robux and the ~100-roll average about 200 Robux. Free reroll charges (from reported reroll codes) cut that cost. Always confirm the current price in-game before spending.

Does ethnicity or gender affect the Mogger Face?

No. Guides agree the ~1% chance applies to any character — ethnicity and gender don't gate the Mogger Face or change its odds. Faces are drawn from a gender-based pool, but the rare roll can land on anyone.
