Gakuran Fighting Styles

Gakuran's three fighting styles explained — Boxing, Muay Thai, and Hakari — with reroll cost, tier tags, height synergy, and PvP tips.

Quick answer
  • Confirmed styles Boxing, Muay Thai, Hakari.
  • Top tier (community) Muay Thai — best reach and space control.
  • Reroll cost 5 Robux per attempt from the Stats menu.
  • Should you reroll? Usually no — learn your free style first; skill beats tier.

Every student rolls a Style at character creation — it changes your melee animations, combo routes, and finisher windows (it's not a cosmetic). Gameplay footage confirms three: Boxing, Muay Thai, and Hakari. Reroll costs 5 Robux from the Stats menu. Below is what each style does best, who it suits, and when a reroll is actually worth it.

StylePlaystyleTier*Best for
BoxingClose range · Punch combosAFast M1 pressure, hallway brawls
Muay ThaiKicks · Aggressive meleeSKick range & space control
HakariFlashy · Off-metaBFlashy finishers, surprise duelists

Boxing — close-range pressure

Short hooks and fast light chains; dominant in tight hallway scraps. Stay inside range and break guard with M1 → M1 → critical. Weak against kick-heavy Muay Thai at mid range if you only walk forward — dash angles instead.

Muay Thai — space control

Kicks and clinch pressure with the best reach of the three; rated top-tier in community clips. Use range to poke, then close for the slam-stomp finish.

Hakari — flashy off-meta

Style-points finishers that catch lazy parries off guard, but it needs clean execution. Pairs well with a taller Height roll in community footage.

Common style mistakes

Reroll sparingly5 Robux feels cheap once, but failed rolls add up. Learn parries on your free Style first — and run the numbers in the Reroll Simulator.
